Our FNPT II simulator is fully equipped with dual controls that provides realistic and dynamic control forces on both pilot stations. The simulator is also equipped with dual IFR instrumentation. This allowed us the opportunity to develop a useful portfolio of multi-pilot safety training programmes such as Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) and Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training courses. Traditionally, MCC and CRM training are restricted to turbine aircraft and/or aircraft with compulsory multi-crew operations. Our training programmes focusses on Part 91 or Part 135 operations that often have two pilots in dual control equipped aeroplanes and situations, but without necessarily being required by law to have dual pilots or formal MCC training.

Advanced simulators have realistic flight models, aerodynamic behaviour and aircraft systems. All this provide a safe environment to practice emergencies, unusual attitudes and flight envelopes that would be considered impossible or unsafe to practice in a real aeroplane. This led to the development of our highly informative and valuable Scenario Based Training (SBT) programmes. We have also incorporated some Higher Order of Thinking (HOTS) principles, especially those requiring multi-pilot crews to cooperate in their thinking processes to find solutions for the the SBT problems presented by the given scenario.

More and more Part 91 and Part 135 aircraft are being fitted with modern glass cockpits or other advanced avionic systems. We also offer several advanced system training courses. Our training includes classroom sessions but our focus is on providing hands-on familiarisation and most of our courses includes practice sessions on simulation hardware or software.

We are hoping to grow our list of safety training products and the list below will be regularly updated. Make sure to visit this page from time to time or subscribe to our newsletter.

Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) Courses

Our MCC courses are designed for aircraft that is certified for single pilot operations but is being operated with two pilots to meet a regulatory, insurance or company requirement. The course can be offered as:

  • MCC for Multi-Engine Aircraft
  • MCC for Single Engine Aircraft
The course consists of classroom and simulator training and incorporates the following major training concepts:
  • CRM Theory
  • MCC Theory
  • Cockpit Flow Management
  • Division of duties of Pilot Flying/Pilot Not Flying
  • Threat and Error Management
  • Scenario Based Training
  • Handling Emergencies
(The course was designed to a similar curriculum that is required for aircraft type certified for multi-pilot operations)
